The English-Speaking Union is a charity and membership organisation that helps young people from all backgrounds discover their voice through its debate and mentoring programmes. We were brought in to rebrand and implement the new look across all areas, including the website, membership magazine and annual report.

The organisation has nearly 100 years of heritage, however, research had shown misconceptions in terms of its accessibility and inclusivity. In short, our solution needed to reflect expertise and authority in a more friendly, open and vibrant way.

Due to its history the ‘snake’ based crest was considered sacrosanct, however, housing in a speech bubble gave the logo more relevance and modernity, complemented with a new, fresh colour palette and font.
